Services

A contractor marketing agency built around how contractors actually get chosen.

No random menu of marketing tasks. These are the pieces that make a contractor easier to find, trust, contact, track, and follow up with.

Lead capture

Local Service Ads

We set up, clean up, and manage Google Local Service Ads so contractors can capture higher-intent searches without guessing where the calls came from.

  • A cleaner LSA account with tighter service targeting, better intake visibility, and a clearer read on which calls are worth paying for.
  • Best fit: Best for contractors who need phone calls now while the longer-term organic system is being built.
Maps and trust

Google Business Profile

We optimize your Google Business Profile so it supports lead flow: categories, services, photos, reviews, updates, Q&A, and the trust signals customers check before they call.

  • A stronger Google profile that supports local discovery, builds trust, and gives customers clearer reasons to contact you.
  • Best fit: Best for contractors who already get some Google visibility but need the profile to convert more of that attention into calls.
Conversion base

Contractor Websites

We build and improve contractor websites around the lead path: clear services, real project proof, town coverage, trust, calls, forms, and tracking.

  • A cleaner site that explains the work, supports Google visibility, and gives better customers a reason to call or book.
  • Best fit: Best for contractors whose current site looks fine but does not explain what they do, where they work, why they should be trusted, or how to take the next step.
Demand capture

SEO + AI Search

We build SEO and AI-search readiness around real contractor demand: service pages, location signals, internal linking, schema, content, citations, and the proof search engines need to understand the business.

  • A stronger search footprint that supports long-term lead generation instead of depending only on paid ads or referrals.
  • Best fit: Best for contractors who want more organic lead flow from specific services, towns, and high-value projects.
Demand creation

Paid Ads

We manage paid campaigns for contractors across Local Service Ads, Meta, and Google Ads when the offer, market, and follow-up path are ready for paid traffic.

  • A more controlled paid lead channel with clearer targeting, tighter offers, and better source visibility.
  • Best fit: Best for contractors who have the basics in place and want to add controlled lead volume around the right services or seasonal offers.
Lead control

Lead Tracking + Follow-Up

We connect call tracking, forms, reporting, and follow-up basics so contractors can see which channels produce real opportunities and where leads are getting lost.

  • A clearer view of lead sources, lead quality, response gaps, and the next fixes that matter most.
  • Best fit: Best for contractors spending on marketing but still unsure what is working, what is junk, and what is falling through the cracks.

How to choose a contractor marketing agency

Use these checks on any marketing agency for contractors, including us. Some problems are not an agency problem at all, and Nick lists ten things no marketing agency can fix for you on Blue Collar Techy.

  1. They have worked in the trades. Ask who on the team has run a crew, sold a job, or answered the phone at 6 a.m. Someone who has done the work will ask better questions about your jobs, your margins, and your season.
  2. Pricing is published or given in writing up front. You should know the monthly fee, the setup fee, and what ad spend is included before the second call.
  3. The contract length is explained. Month-to-month and 12-month terms both have a place. The agency should tell you why a plan has the term it has, and what happens if you want out.
  4. You own the accounts and the website. Your domain, website, Google Business Profile, and ad accounts should be in your name. If you leave, they leave with you.
  5. Reporting ties back to signed jobs. Rankings and clicks are early signs. Ask for calls, forms, booked jobs, and what each signed job cost.
  6. They show real client results. Look for published case studies with real numbers, and ask how long those clients have worked with them.
  7. They give you references. Ask to talk to a contractor who has been with them for more than a year.
  8. They will not guarantee rankings or lead counts. Google decides rankings and lead prices. An agency can commit to the work, the tracking, and honest reports.

Proof

What contractors say

"I was about to sell the business. Pipeline was empty, nothing closing. We tried one more thing. Nick ran ads on our pole barns. Did $500K in sales in 45 days. He'll tell you straight, that was the right offer at the right time. But it bought us the runway to keep going."
Isaac M., Cheyenne, WY
"First six months I wasn't sure it was working. Nick kept saying it's like going to the gym, you gotta keep showing up. A year and a half in, we're booked six months out and every single lead comes from Google. Glad I didn't pull the plug early."
Rick T., Maine
"What got me was he ran a hardscape company himself. Talks like a contractor, not an agency. When something didn't work, he'd just say so. Never tried to spin it. That's rare in this industry."
Jon V., hardscape contractor

FAQ

Questions contractors ask before hiring an agency

How long is the contract?

Visibility Starter is month-to-month. Growth Engine and Market Expansion are 12-month builds, because SEO takes time and how much depends on your market and your competition. It usually takes six to 12 months, if not longer.

Who owns the website, Google profile, and ad accounts?

You do. If you leave, you keep your website and everything that goes with it: your domain, your Google Business Profile, and your ad accounts. Agencies that hold a contractor's website hostage are a pet peeve of our founder, Nick Conley. In his words, it's "ridiculous."

What trades do you work with?

We work with landscape and hardscape contractors, pool builders, pole barn builders, HVAC and plumbing companies, excavation, land clearing, and forestry-type work, and other higher-ticket construction trades.

How does reporting work?

You get a monthly report that ties marketing to calls, forms, booked jobs, and what each signed job cost, so you can see which dollars turned into work.

How fast do Local Services Ads and SEO show results?

Local Services Ads can start producing calls soon after your profile is verified and approved, because you pay per lead. SEO is slower. How much slower depends on your market and competition, and it usually takes six to 12 months, if not longer.

Do you work with home service companies?

Yes. If you sell services to homeowners and want more of the right calls, we are a home service marketing agency too. Book a call and we will tell you honestly if we are a fit.
